I bought a F40W-7 for a Aerotech 29/40-120. The propellant doesn't fill the 29/40-120 - there is a cardboard spacer that goes on top of the propellant. My question is: there is an inch gap between the propellant and the ejection charge assembly - is this setup going to ignite the ejection charge? Thanks in advance for your help!
NP. Follow the AT directions. I've built many of these and others like it. Put tape over the top of the grain so the ignitor (starter) is in the correct space. You do this before sliding the grain in and then add the spacer on top. Yes, once started, the grain burns and that starts the delay burning.
