Has anyone renewed our charter and insurance? We can't fly at the AMA without it.

Who has done that in the past? Was it done by a certain officer of the club normally? Do we contact NAR to get it done, or are there other procedures? After all that, what does the AMA require-a copy of the documents? Something else? Thanks for bring it up, that would have been bad if we tried to launch without it! Rob

I have done it the last 2 years. The NAR has sent me the charter information and I just confirm it. The insurance is a little more involved and I'm sure they'll send it to me again this year. I'll transition all those things over to you as they come in.

Aaron, thanks for the help on these items. If you want to instruct me on the details, I will learn them and take care of that. All these presidential details!!! Anyways, I'm really just trying to learn all the things that go into making a club work, so any help is always appreciated! If you have seen the other topics, we are considering moving the meetings to thursday nights, as I now have to work mon-tue-wed nights, with my new schedule. (But it allows me weekends off for launching!) We haven't clarified just yet, I have to talk to terry about it first. Should know today though. Also, I am trying to get a cell number list together, so I can mass text club members when needed, such as if a launch will go as scheduled or not, based on weather, that sort of thing. If you want to be included with that texting idea, you can send a cell number to me privately at my email, rbrtpierce64@yahoo.com, if you wish to do so. Strictly voluntary, of course. Hope to see you again soon!
