I plan to be at the meeting and also at the launch. I got an e-mail from the Carter's Hot Dog man, he can be at the launch if we don't get rained out! Do we have any rocket vendors planning to be there?...

I have been contacted by the folks at the Jewish Center on the NW side of town again, they would like for us to do a demo launch for them. No build'N'fly this time, their kids were a bit too young for that anyway. It would be on a Friday afternoon from about 1:30 to 3:30, on either July 23rd or 30th. If we could have 3 or 4 ROCI people for this that would be great, I can do the 23rd but not the 30th. The field would be pretty small, so we're probably looking at D motor maximum, mostly A to C. I think we would just need the controller and one '3-rack' for this, plus some bigger rockets just for display (and the club video, handouts, etc.). They also plan to get some 'stomp rockets' for the kids to play with.

I'd like to confirm with them to do this on July 23 if enough people will commit to help out (they did make a nice donation to our club last time)...

Rob has canceled the launch for today due to the wind, but Sunday May 9 (tomorrow) is still on. The winds are predicted to remain above the 'legal limit' all afternoon today, but tomorrow will be better.

I have the nametags and cashbox and I will not be able to go tomorrow, so I'll need to meet up with somebody today so they'll have it for the launch...

The Launch fees for the May 8-9 CIRFF launch are $10 for one day, $15 for both days (it's not based on the number of rockets you launch). Launch fees for ROCI club members are $5 for one day, $8 for both. You can get $5 off if you do some range duty, and those under 18 years are always free. ROCI membership is $20 per year.

Kevin, ROCI membership is the standard calendar year, and is $20. Rob, I'm printing up nametags for CIRFF XXI, and I should be all set for registration. But, since Sunday is Mothers Day I can't make it and I'll need somebody to cover for me then (so I've been told)...
