Welcome to IndyRockets

This site was created as a resource for anyone interested in hobby rocketry in central Indiana.

This is also the source for information on the Rocketeers Of Central Indiana (ROCI), Section #625 of The National Association of Rocketry (NAR). Feel free to check here for information about ROCIs launch events. The launch events are conducted throughout the warmer months at the Academy of Model Aeronautics' Headquarters and Aeromodeling Center in Muncie, Indiana. This facility is the finest flying field in the state and ROCI is proud to be the exclusive host of the rocketry events held there. ROCI is not currently conducting meetings as we have lost our meeting place.

We want Mario to be Senior Adviser to ROCI with vote forever. I know there isn't time now but there is no one else to bug on Nike Hercules details like the location of rivets! : )
I think the group is offering to share the admin and everyday burden and start taking care of stuff again, and try and bring ROCI back.
The club has a ton of expertise and should be fired back up.

Robert, I don not have a level 2 test. If you plan on going up to Dayton, they may be able to provide one if you let them know. in advance,.
Don't know if someone else in the club that is coming may have one.

John, et. al:
WSR maintains a "Traveling Binder" (a term I borrowed from my Scouting days) that contains miscellaneous paperwork that we need to have on hand at every launch. That includes copies of our waivers, the club's insurance certificate, points of contact and whatnot. But, we also keep a stock of Jr. L1 and L2 exam blanks as well as the answer keys (and the NAR HPR applications), so we should be able to respond to a request for and exam at any of our launches. The traveling binder goes with us everywhere, and any of our club officers or senior members would be happy to proctor the test for you.

Hi Dave,
We discovered a similar binder during our trailer cleanout, although most of the info was somewhat out of date. I will be updating it so that we can have the info we need at hand in the future.
Thanks,

If you'd like, I can send you the table of contents for ours, and you can use it as a starting point to rebuild yours.
