Allan will be unable to move the trailer for our launch Sep 18 and 19th. Will need someone to move it to the launch site 9AM on the 18th and back around 5PM on the 19th.
Thanks,

Have new gallon jug of vinegar to clean launch rails.  If anyone has rags or green/blue pads to donate to the trailer, would be helpful in the cleanup effort. Blue pads are better - teflon safe and less likely to damage the coating on the aluminum rails.

My favorite topics - Wind Direction, Speed, and crops. LOTS of rocket-eating korn and beans out there. Bring your trackers and chute releases and think well on launch height and rod  / rail tilt. The forecast was for South winds all week but now it is North to NNE. Speed is under 6mph, shockingly good for Indiana!

If everyone is game, will bring my awning with stake weights (for setup on asphalt or concrete) and we may possibly be able to adjust pad and LCO stations to the west a bit, ensure shade for the LCO,  and less crop and asphalt landings.

Cheers / Robert

Hi All,
Tomorrow we get back into the launching game after a couple of months off. A reminder that there will be launch fees ($5/$8 for members and $10/$15 for non members). I will be post the ground wind wind predictions later today, probably this evening, but it does look like 5mph at all altitudes we are concerned with from the northeast at ground swinging to the northwest at 4000.

With that said, we will have to be careful with rod tilt, as this is the same scenario we had when the one rocket came in ballistic next to the port o pot, so that will be taken into account when we set up the rods.
As to launch location, we will be launching from the  pavilion as always.
See you all tomorrow. Help setting up is always appreciated.

Set up is at 9AM and launching starts at 10AM, both days
